M. Lawlor Cooper is the author of Saffy Sparkles & Eleanor Jack, and is currently developing, and writing, more books in the Saffy & Eleanor children’s book series. Cooper has been a writer and editor for sixteen years. Most recently, she has worked on projects in product development, web content, and as managing editor for a parenting magazine. Cooper is a strong advocate of female writers and creators in the creative and art fields, and she continues to encourage kids, especially girls and women of all ages, in continued learning through creative means.
Cooper’s two daughters have greatly helped influence the Saffy and Eleanor characters. The author has encouraged her girls to work with her on story lines, illustrations, and the marketing of the book series, to develop their knowledge of the industry and foster their love of writing.
